First part of the assignment that was completed was the champagne bottle.
First step was to construct the base of the bottle which consisted of curved foot. Problems I had with making the curve were joining the lines together to make them tangential and ended up with points at each end of the lines. However, from this problem I learned how to join lines together and make them tangential.
The next step was to make the main shape of the bottle from the base to the top. This part I found easier to make as the lower bottom part of the bottle was vertical. The top part of the bottle I found was less difficult to make as it involved another two arcs to be constructed with a tangent relationship that gave the bottle its narrower shape at the top.
The most difficult part I found of this assignment was making the top part of the bottle. This part was more complex with lots more dimensions to put in and was confused with various dimensioning lines intersecting each other the lower half of the bottle I found easier as it involved making radius at certain angles which I have basic knowledge of.
The middle part of the that consisted of the arc I found difficult and confusing as it there was two radius' that had to be tangential, but had a four degree difference between them. Although this problem taught me another method of using a co radial relationship on joining radius's together.
The top part of the bottle was less difficult as I had to make one last arc to make the very top of the bottle and the edge of the inside of the bottle.
From there I used the offset entities to offset the lines 4mm apart from each other as shown by the highlighted line
Finally I revolved the profile around the centreline of the bottle.
